Omaha Roncalli made it to the first round of the playoffs last year under first year head coach Tom Kassing. Now the Crimson Pride hopes 2017 will mean an even deeper postseason run.
"Our motto is if you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done," said Kassing. "So we all want to get to the second round of the playoffs and from there we will establish new goals."
Roncalli returns seven starters on both offense and defense. The Crimson Pride opens the season Friday against Nebraska City.
