OSI Prep Pigskin Preview: Omaha South

Posted

Chris Fant is about to begin year three as the Omaha South head football coach. Fant's squad returns plenty of starters on both sides of the ball including junior quarterback Tavion Anderson.

"The coaching staff really helped me a lot building up my confidence," said Anderson. "But I feel much better playing and more confident on my reads."

"He's been getting a lot better," said senior receiver Julio Rangel. "His mechanics got a lot better. Our routes got a lot better. So I feel like our passing game is going to be tough this year."

"I feel like some of the pass game has definitely improved, especially with our new receivers getting in and really being committed," said senior center Darrick Smith.

Omaha South opens the season August 25 against Benson.
