The defending state champs in Class B, Elkhorn South, took rival Elkhorn to overtime and dominated the extra session, taking home the B-2 District title, 57-45. The Storm's Lindley Daubert scored the first five points in overtime to clinch Elkhorn South's ticket to the state tournament.
Despite the loss, the Storm will also be headed to the state tournament in Lincoln, claiming one of the two wild card spots in Class B.
