The Papillion-La Vista softball team captured its 14th state title beating Lincoln Southwest 16-4 Friday, October 13th.
The Monarchs scored 11 runs on 10 hits in just the first inning. Papio's 16 runs in the final game was the most runs scored by any state winning team in a state title game.
