According to ESPN, Omaha native and unified junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford has found an opponent for his May 20th bout. Crawford will face contender Felix Diaz at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Diaz is the 2008 Olympic gold medalist from the Dominican Republic. Diaz is coming off of a win by TKO over Levis Morales on Dec. 12, 2016. Crawford enters the fight following a win over John Molina Jr. in Omaha at the Centurylink Center.
The fight between Crawford (30-0, 21 KOs) and Diaz (19-1, 9 KOs) will be televised on HBO.
