BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) — Wednesday restaurants in Bellevue are donating a portion of their proceeds to victims of the flooding through the Bellevue Community Foundation.

34 restaurants are part of Cook's Day Off. The goal is for people to eat out tonight and part of their bill will go to a good cause. B&B Arcade and Grill is one of the restaurants participating. 15% of their sales will be donated. They say it feels good to know they are giving back to a community that has given them so much.

"This community has done so much for us and been supportive of us and we just really want to give back and actually all of the restaurants in Bellevue have customers affected by this flooding so we want to do anything we can to help," said general manager of B&B Grill and Arcade, Lori Nichols. "General area we probably have 700 homes affected and about 3000 people are the rough numbers right now so we have a lot of community support," said Bellevue Mayor, Rusty Hike.
