There was apparently a glitch in the Husker hoops matrix as the Indiana game looked very similar to their Northwestern game earlier this week. Nebraska jumped out to a quick lead and used a late push before half to take a lead into the break. Then they proceeded to struggle defending the paint before ultimately losing. Their 79-69 loss to Indiana drops their conference record to 0-2.
The loss also is the second straight missed opportunity for a quality win at home. Nebraska returns to action on Tuesday when they play their red-hot rivals from Iowa who just knocked off Michigan State and Purdue in the same week and will surely be ranked in the top 25 this week.
