Demand is expected to be high for tickets to the 2016 Nebraska football spring game.
They go on sale to the general public at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, a day after availability for season ticket holders.
The Red-White Spring Game is scheduled for a yet-to-be-determined time on Saturday, April 16 at Memorial Stadium.
Last year, 76,881 fans showed up for new coach Mike Riley’s debut. The attendance record for the spring game was set in 2008 with 80,149 fans.
"Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to ensure good seats as demand is once again expected to be high," university officials said.
The 2016-17 season opens against Fresno State on Saturday, Sept. 3. The Huskers finished their first season with Riley at the helm with a win at the Foster Farms Bowl (Take a look back at the highlights in the video player above) and a 5-7 record.

Prices: $15 club seats, $10 reserved seats; $5 for UNL Faculty and Staff; FREE for UNL students, though ticket from Huskers.com is required
Students in eighth grade or below will get in for free and are encouraged to take the Drug Free Pledge. They must still secure a complementary ticket.
Fans can purchase youth tickets when buying a regular ticket; limit of two complimentary youth tickets for each regular ticket purchased; Requests for more than two tickets per adult ticket must be made over the phone or in person at Nebraska Athletics Development and Ticketing before game day.
How to buy: Nebraska fans may purchase tickets on-line at Huskers.com, by phone at 1-800-8-BIG RED or in person at the Nebraska Athletics Development and Ticketing office, located in the Stadium Drive Parking Garage (8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays).
