The Creighton Bluejays seized their opportunity for a quality win by defeating 18th ranked Butler 72-64. It was their first win over a ranked opponent this season. Maurice Watson Junior gave them a big effort with 20 points and six assists. Isaiah Zierden chipped in thirteen points.
Creighton is now tied for second place in the Big East conference. The Jays return to action on Tuesday on the road at Georgetown.
