OMAHA (KMTV) — The #8 Creighton men's basketball team fell at #5 Kansas on Tuesday afternoon, 73-72.

CU's Marcus Zegarowski missed what would've been the game-tying free throw with one second remaining.

KU's Jalen Wilson hit a three-pointer with less than 50 seconds remaining to give the Jayhawks the lead for good.

Denzel Mahoney scored a team-high 19 for the Bluejays, whilie Wilson had a game-high 23 points for Kansas.

Mitch Ballock scored just six points on 2-8 shooting in his return to his home state.
