OMAHA (KMTV) — The Creighton women's basketball team earned a #6 seed for the NCAA Tournament & will face the #11 seed Illinois/Mississppi State winner on Friday in South Bend, Indiana.

If the Jays win, they'll face the winner of the Notre Dame-Southern Utah matchup on Sunday.

CU advanced all the way to the Elite Eight last season.
