OMAHA (KMTV) — This year's NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament will be played entirely in Omaha after the Division I Competition Oversight Committee approved the proposal on Wednesday.

The entire 48 team tournament would be played at the CHI Health Center Arena & Convention Center April 13-24. Some other key changes:
-1st Round Matches: Tuesday April 13
-2nd Round Matches: Wednesday April 14
-Sweet 16: Saturday April 17
-Elite 8: Monday April 19
The Final Four matches would still be Thursday April 22 with the national championship on Saturday April 24.
"The city of Omaha has proven itself time and again to be one of the best host cities for sporting events in this country," Nebraska Volleyball Head Coach John Cook said in a statement. "From the College World Series to the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials to NCAA Championships, they always do a phenomenal job, and I have no doubt Omaha will put its best foot forward and make it a memorable experience for all of the NCAA Volleyball teams."
