LINCOLN (KMTV) — The Nebraska men's basketball team blew a six point lead with less than three minutes remaining as the Huskers' upset bid fell short against #6 Illinois in overtime on Friday in Lincoln, 77-72.
Lay Mayen's three pointer helped NU led the Illini, 64-58, with 2:55 remaining.
The loss is Nebraska's 26th straight in Big Ten play.
The Huskers (4-12, 0-9) heads to Penn State Sunday at 2 p.m. on BTN.
