MADISON (KMTV) — The Huskers had an early 19-9 lead but it was all Wisconsin after that as the 9th ranked Badgers beat Nebraska in the Big Ten opener on Tuesday in Madison, 67-53.
Dalano Banton scored a team-high 15 for the Big Red, while Brad Davidson was one of four Wisconsin players in double figures leading the Badgers with 15 as well.
NU fell to 4-4 overall and 0-1 in conference play while Wisconsin improved to 7-1 overall and 1-0 in the league.
The Huskers host #19 Michigan on Christmas Day starting at 5 p.m. on BTN.
