LINCOLN (KMTV) — The Nebraska men's basketball team had an eight point lead in the first half but then the offense sputtered as the Huskers lost to #21 Wisconsin on Wednesday in Lincoln, 61-48. It's the 25th straight Big Ten game in a row NU has dropped.
The Huskers fell to 4-11 overall and 0-8 in Big Ten play. The Big Red led the Badgers, 22-14, with 10:01 remaining in the first half. But then Nebraska was outscored 25-9 over the next nearly 16 minutes of game time. The Huskers had 17 turnovers on the night while hitting just 7-of-17 of their free throws.
