KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KSHB) — "Toe watch 2021" continues ahead of Super Bowl Sunday in Tampa.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes told reporters his big toe "is feeling a lot better" after picking up an injury in the AFC Divisional Round game against the Cleveland Browns.
“It's pretty close to 100%, I'm sure by game day will be,” Mahomes said.
Mahomes’ injury remains listed on the Chiefs injury report but the quarterback was a full participant in each practice.
NFL Network reports the QB is considering offseason surgery on the toe.
