LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska men's basketball team built a 13 point 2nd half lead as the Huskers then hung on to beat Minnesota on Senior Night, 78-74. It was Nebraska's first home Big Ten win since January 7, 2020 against Iowa.
Dalano Banton led the Big Red with 14 points and was one of five Huskers in double figures.
Marcus Carr tied a Pinnacle Bank Arena record set by NU's Teddy Allen earlier this week with 41 points for Minnesota.
NU (6-17, 2-14) hosts Rutgers on Monday at 6 p.m. on BTN.
