The Lincoln native spent his entire 14 year major league career with Kansas City.
Gordon was key part of KC's World Series championship team in 2015.
On a personal note, I have known Alex Gordon well and covered him for over 14 years, and I have never covered anyone in my long career as devoted to his craft as Alex. Every player in the clubhouse through the years has viewed him as the ideal model on how to play the game.
