LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Scott Frost isn't shy when it comes to off-season takes on his program.
Not afraid to hype up his squad, the head Huskers coach said the defense was looking good in the weight room, even a little bit better than the offense. Frost said the group is building confidence heading in to fall camp.
"The mentality that I see, the energy and mentality that I see in the weight room, the confidence that I see build," Frost said. "I told the team if they looked back at last year's film and they had one more stop and scored another touchdown each game our record would've been a lot different and I think our defense is ready to take that next step."
