OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Our partners at the Omaha World-Herald have reported that a local warehouse that distributed products for Shopko stores is closing, leaving about 300 people out a job.
The move comes after Shopko closed many of its stores, leading to less need for need for warehousing staff. In addition to the Omaha location, a warehouse in Boise will also be closing.
The company that owns the warehouse, Spectrum America, said it's giving assistance to workers to as the transition occurs.
