BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) — Nothing warms the heart like southern cooking. In Old Towne Bellevue, Quick Bites Soul Food Restaurant has great food that's not only good for your taste buds, but good for your soul.
The restaurant has a menu to make you feel like you're at your mama's house. That includes seafood gumbo, shrimp and grits, smoked and grilled chicken, fried okra, pork chops, New Orleans sausage and shrimp, collard greens, mac & cheese, and even breakfast plates like chicken and waffles,, a pork chop breakfast, and biscuits and gravy.
The owner, Justin Epting, offers reasonable prices and a military discount for all active and retired military members.
The place is small with several tables. Decorated on the walls are pictures and news articles to highlight and celebrate black history.
