OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — As coronavirus cases come in throughout our area on Thursday, KMTV will update this story with the latest numbers. Check back often for updates. The latest updates will be posted at the top. You can find cases at area schools here.

NEBRASKA

DOUGLAS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

  • The Health Department reported 67 new cases of COVID-19, as received by midnight the previous day. This makes 12,413 cases in Douglas County since the outbreak began in March.
  • During the past day, the Health Department received no new death certificates related to COVID-19. The total number of deaths in the county related to the pandemic remains at 147.
  • The county has confirmed 8,440 county residents have recovered from the illness.

SARPY/CASS HEALTH DEPARTMENT

  • To date, there has been a total of 2,823 Sarpy and Cass County residents test positive for COVID-19 out of the 36,370 tested.
  • There have been 16 COVID-19 related deaths, including two deaths this week.
