NEBRASKA
DOUGLAS COUNTY
- 102 additional cases reported for a total of 13,357 cases
- For the week that ended on Saturday, the county saw 715 new cases
- No new deaths for a total of 160 deaths
- 9,249 residents have recovered
- As of the latest report, hospitals in the metro had 286 beds available for a 79% occupancy rate
- There were 87 inpatients diagnosed with COVID-19 and 31 additional persons of interest
- 17 people who were confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19 were on ventilators
LINCOLN-LANCASTER COUNTY
- 43 additional cases for a total of 3,966 cases
- Number of deaths remains at 20
NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONAL SERVICES
- All housing units at the Nebraska State Penitentiary are under quarantine
- Testing done Friday revealed 29 inmates in four housing units that were positive for COVID-19
- Testing is voluntary and out of approximately 600 inmates offered tests, 332 agreed to be tested
