OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Four additional deaths were reported in Nebraska on Saturday, according to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Central District Health Department announced three new deaths involving a man in his 70's who died in a hospital in Hall County, a man in his 80's who died at a long-term care center in Hall County and a third case who died in Hamilton County.
On Tuesday, Hall County overtook Douglas with the most reported cases.
DHHS said another death occurred in Nebraska and more information is forthcoming.
According to the DHHS data dashboard, the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Nebraska is 28.
Additionally, the Southwest Nebraska Public Health District reported the first COVID-19 case in Furnas County involving a male in his 20's.
As of 5:45 p.m. Saturday, the total number of cases in Nebraska is 1,474.
