SARPY COUNTY, Neb. (KMTV) — The Sarpy County Election Commission Office says it's still counting ballots but is closed to the public due to positive COVID-19 cases among staff.
In a release, it said, "Out of an abundance of caution, the Election Commission office is closed to the public after staff members tested positive for COVID-19. The office will reopen to the public in one week."
When the release was issued, the election commission still had 1,108 provisional ballots to process.
Totals will be updated on Friday and will be posted at Sarpy.com/Election.
