GALLERY: Anthony Garcia's sentencing hearing

The man who committed the "Creighton Killings" is having his defense team say why he should not get the death penalty. 

Anthony Garcia murdered Thomas Hunter and Shirlee Sherman in 2008 and Dr. Roger Brumback and his wife Mary in 2013 as revenge for being fired from the Creighton Pathology Department. 

He appeared in court for the first day of his sentencing hearing Wednesday.
