Kay Anderson, Yale Park Apartments owner, appeared before the Property Maintenance Advisory Board on Thursday.
The board agreed to give him six months to repair a total of 14 units and make them available to rent. He indicated that one building has six units and another has eight units.
Anderson told board members that 23 units are now occupied and he has a waiting list for those interested in renting.
He also said that previous tenants who signed year-long leases expressed wanting to return to the apartment complex, adding that some requested to have their previous unit back.
He anticipates completing repairs on the entire complex as early as March.
