Omaha Fire crews responded to a two alarm fire Friday afternoon at the Sons of Italy Hall, located in the 1200 block of 10th St.

According to OFD officials, they received a call of a automatic fire detection signal before 2:00 p.m.
When fire crews arrived to the scene, they said they found moderate smoke coming from the building, they called a Help Wanted and declared a working fire.
OFD officials say that crews found heavy fire in the kitchen and due to the size of the structure a second alarm was called.
Fire was quickly knocked down and extensive overhaul of the structure was conducted to check for fire extension throughout the building
The fire was under control at around 3:00 p.m.
At this time, It is unknown what was the cause of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
OFD officials are investigating this fire.
