OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County Board has voted yes on a $114 million bond to pay for a new Juvenile Justice Center project.

Although it has been approved, it will still need to be signed off on by Omaha's City Council.

The project has had its share of controversy up to this point.

The bond would be part of a courthouse annex and makeover project near 18th and Harney Streets.
