OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Last week, a drive-thru COVID-19 test site was closed due to a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This morning, it was back in operation.

The site, located at 50th and G Streets, opened at 8 a.m. and will run through noon says the Douglas County Health Department (DCHD). It will also offer testing Monday through Friday from 1-5 p.m.

On-site registration is available but advance registration, which is preferred, can be done at https://redcap.nebraskamed.com/surveys/index.php?s=LT7XF8AFLN

The test site is being operated through a partnership between the DCHD, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Nebraska Medicine and OneWorld Community Health Centers.

DCHD wants to remind people that a TestNebraska site is now open at Crossroads Mall. Registration for that location can be done at https://www.testnebraska.com/en.
