The Elkhorn Public School district is already laying the ground work for a third high school.
Our partners at the Omaha World-Herald report administrators have put a timeline in place for the new school, including selecting a name, mascot and school colors. The district has already approved a grading contract for the site at 180th and West Maple, the board will vote again on the details in September.
This comes after voters approved a more than $149 million bond program last month.
