Funeral arrangements set for victims of triple homicide

Funeral arrangements have been set for the victims of a triple homicide in Omaha the day after Christmas. 

There will be a visitation for 70-year-old John Dalton, Sr., 65-year-old Jean Dalton and 18-year-old Leonna Dalton-Phillip from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 4. It will be at Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler Mortuaries & Crematory at 7805 W. Center Road. Their funeral will be on Friday, January 5 at St. Cecilia Cathedral at 701 N. 40th Street. 

They will be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery. 

Loved ones have set up a GoFundMe Page for the family. Omaha Public Schools has set up a Memorial Fund in honor of Burke High School student Leonna Dalton-Phillip. 

The suspect in their deaths is in custody in Tennessee. John Dalton, Jr. is awaiting extradition to Omaha. Police have identified him as the suspect. He is the son of victims John and Jean Dalton and the uncle of Leonna Dalton-Phillip.
