Just days after touting the new police precinct in Elkhorn as part of the 2019 budget, Mayor Jean Stothert has announced a groundbreaking for the new facility, where the traffic unit and bomb squad will be housed.
It will be July 25 at 209th and Cumberland and is expected to cost close to $10 million. The precinct is expected to open next July.
