OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — This year’s millionth visitor to walk through the gates at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium was Sylvia Colon from Council Bluffs. She entered the Zoo at about 2:18 p.m. on Saturday and visited the Zoo with three-year-old Elian.
As the millionth visitor, Colon was greeted by the Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors and received a complimentary membership to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, a Zoo gift basket, ride tickets, and a Zoo tour.
This year's special visitor came about a week earlier than last year.
