There was a strong turnout here of Huskers fans here at Oscars Pizza and Sports Grille with a close to packed house all afternoon.
There's been plenty of ups and downs throughout the game as Iowa leads and the Huskers struggled to bounce back. Fans have been easing the tension with cheers and even boos as Iowa's lead grew.
But fans say they're optimistic looking ahead - Huskers supporters we spoke with say that they're hopeful that Coach Mike Riley will strengthen the program.
"I think they've really turned around from last season I think Riley really had a lot on his plate last year coming in. I think he's turned it around really well," said Mike Kripal, fan.
But win or lose, Huskers fans say they'll always support the Big Red.
