IA Rep. Cindy Axne holding conference asking for EPA investigation

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Iowa Rep. Cindy Axne will be holding a press conference at Southwest Iowa Renewable Energy as part of a 16-county tour looking into Iowa jobs and infrastructure. At the press conference Axne will be calling for an investigation into the Environmental Protection Agency and their biofuel waiver process.

Axne will be joined by several state politicians and officials from the Iowa farming industry and will deliver remarks on "how biofuel exemptions are hurting Iowa farmers and rural communities."

The press conference is scheduled at 3:15 p.m.
