Jeremy Jorgenson, the former attorney of Anthony Garcia, appeared in court Wednesday after he was accused of child abuse and tampering with a witness.
Prosecutors say on Feb. 18, Jorgenson was having an argument with his wife when his 7-year-old stepson threw a toy at him. Jorgenson then allegedly grabbed the boy and walked him to the stairs when his wife heard a noise. Jorgenson then made up a story about how a nerf gun caused the boys' injury and took him for ice cream.
Jorgenson's attorney said he later turned himself in. His bond was set at $30,000.
