OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Tex-Mex restaurant Julio's closed in late June following more than 40 years in business -- but on Wednesday, the restaurant announced plans to re-open under new ownership.

"We have some good news for you. We were contacted by a long time customer and have sold the Julio’s brand, including all the recipes you love. Their plan is to open up a new and improved Julio’s in Omaha in the very near future," the restaurant said in a Facebook post.

Julio's thanked all of their fans for the love they've shown during this difficult time.
