Clifton Wade, 28, was arrested after being discharged from an Omaha hospital Monday.
Wade was recovering from injuries suffered from being shot by a Council Bluffs Police officer on May 1.
Wade was booked into the Douglas County Jail as a "fugitive from justice" and faces charges of attempted murder of a peace officer, aggravated assault of a peace officer and felony eluding.
The police officer, 30-year-old Jason Burleigh, was not charged after a review by the Pottawattamie County attorney.
