As of Thursday at 12:15 p.m., CHI Health's six metro hospitals have had 21 heat-related cases this week as temperatures have been in the mid-to-upper 90's.
A majority of those hospital visits have come on Wednesday and Thursday, with eight coming Wednesday and seven coming on Thursday. Additionally, three or four patients are suffering from severe sunburns and dehydration.
