WAHOO, Neb. (KMTV) - A 61-year-old woman from western New York is facing drug-related charges following her arrest in Wahoo.
The Wahoo Police Department says officers were conducting a narcotics investigation in the area of 10th and Chestnut on Friday.
Officers seized 27 pounds of marijuana and items used to heat seal baggies for transportation.
Police say the woman was traveling from California. According to police, it appears this wasn't her first trip from New York to California.
She was charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana more than a pound.
Police, who did not release the woman's name, said the investigation is ongoing.
