Omaha Police investigating two cutting incidents

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police are investigating two cuttings that occurred early Sunday morning.

OPD responded to CUMC-University Campus at 3:47 a.m. on Sunday after a report of a cutting. Officers came in contact with the victim in the parking lot, identified as 27-year-old Randy Edwards.

Edwards was in the process of leaving the hospital and refused to speak with officers or receive medical treatment. The investigation into the cutting is continuing.

Another cutting occurred at 4350 Dewey Ave. at 12:35 a.m. on Sunday. The victim, 36-year-old Milton Barron, arrived at the Nebraska Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury. Officers made contact with the victim at the medical center.

Barron told officers that a blonde, white female, approximately 33-years-old, stabbed him during a disturbance.
