OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) – An Omaha police officer was recommended for termination by Chief Todd Schmaderer.
According to OPD, the officer has an opportunity for a Loudermill hearing with the human resource director to challenge the merits of the termination.
The matter was brought to the chief's attention by commanders within the department and not a member of the public.
OPD will not give the officers name as the matter is pending a hearing.
