Kevin Staley, 39, was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with voluntary manslaughter following a shooting in Red Oak, Iowa at 4:17 that morning.
Police responded to to a call for a deceased body and identified the body as 27-year-old Devin Davis.
According to a release, Davis and Staley were in a confrontation which lead to Staley shooting Davis.
Staley is currently being held on $100,000 bond at the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Center.
The investigation is on-going and authorities say this is an isolated incident.
