As flood waters continue to cause problems in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa, another evacuation order has been made, this time in Sarpy County.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office says the Platte River is currently flowing over Biel's Dike at Capehart Rd, which is just north of Highway 6 and Linoma Beach.
The sheriff's office is saying that all citizens living in the vicinity of Thomas Riverside Acres, Beacon View and Linoma Beach should evacuate immediately.

According to the sheriff's office, the river is not currently flowing onto Highway 6, so the highway is still open. Officials say they are preparing to give people shelter if needed, but at this time no shelters have been open.

The sheriff's office tells 3 News Now that the situation is currently affecting about 40 homes, but could grow.
