OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — One of the places that helped rescue animals during the floods is now holding a fundraiser to help the animals.

Scatter Joy Acres is running their "Raise the Woof!" event tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Platteview Golf Club in Bellevue. The event is to help pay for a climate controlled barn for the animals to help them stay healthy. The farm also aims to provide year round animal therapy to thousands of men, women, and children in the community.

Back in May, reporter Jon Kipper went out to Scatter Joy Acres and saw how many animals the farm took in the and how much the farm cared for them.

Award winning comedian Kris Covi will be at the event, and tickets can be purchased here. "Raise the Woof!" runs until 9:00 p.m.
