Two Omaha billionaires are spending big money supporting a ballot initiative to give Medicaid to more low-income Nebraskans.
Our partners at the Omaha World-Herald report both Warren Buffett and Walter Scott Jr. contributed $200,000 each. The ballot measure would require the state to give Medicaid coverage to about 90,000 low-income adults who make too much to qualify.
Opponents of the measure say the move would be too costly for the state.
