The girl at the center of a horrible cinco de mayo tragedy might soon go home.
11 year-old Elizabeth Gilreath and her mother talked to reporters Friday afternoon at UNMC.
They were updating her recovery after the ride tore her hair and scalp off.. May 7th.
The biggest news is that she hopes to go home soon.
Her mother says lu lu asked to come to a press conference.
