COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (KMTV) - Wesley Correa-Carmenaty, the man accused of shooting and killing Pottawattamie County Deputy Mark Burdbridge has filed a not guilty plea, county attorney Mark Wilber has confirmed.
On May 19, Correa-Carmenaty was formally charged with 12 felonies, including first-degree murder, attempted murder, first-degree robbery, and felon in possession of a firearm.
His trial will begin on July 25.
