WEST POINT, Neb. (KMTV) - The City of West Point will collaborate with Northeast Nebraska educational institutions to build a a $2.7 million facility to expand career and technical education throughout the region.
The proposed facility, which is partnered with Wayne State College, Northeast Community College, the City of Wayne and Educational Service Unit 2, is 15,000 square feet is expected to open in the fall of 2018 and will be available to students in the fall of 2019.
It will be built near Nielsen Community College.
According to the Norfolk Daily News, West Point Mayor Marlene Johnson signed a memorandum of understanding Monday on behalf of the city.
